THE ETHICAL BUSINESS THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF RULES AND PRINCIPLES
Business Ethics means the application of the general principles of morality to the business conduct in order to succeed creative balancing behavior and relationships among the company, its shareholders, employees, the public, the customer, the consumer and the wider social and economic environment in which a company or an organization operates.
Therefore, the organization ethos can be described as a set of rules concerning responsibility, control, transparency, prudence, cooperation, consistency and continuity on all levels of profitability and quality of products and services, but also on the ethos and professionalism of all workers in general.
Business ethos should therefore be above legal obligations and, in particular, be expressed through free choice of policy and initiatives by the company itself.
Business ethics concerns both individuals and business organizations by touching any form of action and expression as a natural choice and not necessarily as an obligation dictated by legal rules.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
On the other hand, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an idea where companies – both public and private – decide to contribute voluntarily to the practical improvement of society (employee, consumer) and the environment, with activities, products or services , adding value to their corporate identity, enhancing their reputation, while reducing the likelihood of crisis.
Today, the global crisis calls for faster moves in business ethics and social responsibility by defining specific business behavior principles, standards and rules that transform the whole of corporate policy and act as reference points or codes.

THE RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE MODEL
EBEN has developed a pioneering model, named Responsible Management Excellence Model (RME), which covers the two most important pieces of modern business life and Excellence, Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility.
THE RME HAS BEEN USED FOR THE FINAL CONFIGURATION OF THE DEX ETHICAL INDEX IN GERMANY
It is especially important that the RME Model of Greek culture, based on Aristotle’s theory, has been selected in the group of the most important international business excellence models for the final formation of the new stock index, the DEX (ethical index), operating on the German stock exchange in addition to the existing known index (DAX). The new index will take into account the newly established “Fair Profit” model, based on the EBEN model (RME Model), as well as other well-known models and organized guidelines. The core of the model is the Standard Corporate Code, which refers to internationally accepted rules or principles and which diffuses through the Corporate Code of Ethics and the Corporate Code of Conduct.
