RME AWARDS BY ΕΒΕΝ 2019

The 12th RESPONSIBLE MANAGEMENT EXCELLENCE AWARDS BY EBEN Award Ceremony was held with great success at the “Kostis Palamas” building of NKUA, where important Factors of the Business World, members of the Academic Community, members of the EBEN and Representatives of Organizations with an active role in the field of Social Responsibility and Business Ethics were at present.

The event was greeted by Mr. Antonis Gortzis, President of EVEN GR.

This was followed by interesting speeches on Business Ethics by Mr. Eugenios Giarenis (Military Judge, Doctor at PANTEIO University), on Social Responsibility by Mr. Grigoris Antoniadis (President of the Association of Advertisers of Greece), as well as the Corporate Responsibility by Mrs. Athina Bounatsos (Senior Advisor SED, representative SED in the Implementation Committee of HCGC).

In the context of the presentation of the work held by the Ambassadors Club of EBEN ACE, the representative of HELMEPA Mr. K. Triantafyllou handed over certificates of recognition to the companies ATHENIAN SEA CARRIERS, INSURANCE MINETTA, INTRALOT, EYDAP (Internal Audit Division) and SEFCO ZEELANDIA who were participated in the action ACE Cleaning of the Marathon’s beach.Then the ACE booklet on “Respect for the environment” was presented, created in collaboration with DIRECTION BUSINESS NETWORK. The booklet includes data on the actions of the 11 participating companies as well as on the important work of the Athanasios K. Laskaridis Foundation, HELMEPA, the Association of Graduate Environmentalists of Greece and the CLUB OF HAMBURG. EBEN awarded Recognition Certificates to the Organizations mentioned above, received by Mr. Triantafyllou (Assistant Executive Director HELMEPA), Ms. P. Xirotagaros (Coordinator of Actions at the Athanasios K. Laskaridis Foundation) and Mr. G. Iliopoulos (President of the Association of Graduate Environmentalists of Greece).

This was followed by the presentation of the student competition theme “BUSINESS ETHICS FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED ENTERPRISES” which was held with the support of ALPHA BANK. The evaluation of the works was carried out by an Academic Committee headed by Mr. Ioannis Filos, Professor of Panteion University. Mr. Konstantinos Georgiakakis was distinguished in the competition.

Then Secretary General of EBEN GR Ms. Gelina Karella announced the names of the companies that received the Certification for 2019 and the awards ceremony followed.
