The event « PLATINUM AWARDS 2016 ” of EBEN GR was held on Wednesday 15.06.16 at the Innovation Center INTRALOT SA and attended by the Board of the Greek Institute of Business Ethics, major players in the business world, academics, members of EBEN GR .
The President of the European and Greek network of EBEN GR Anthony Gortzis said to the attendants, that his EBEN GR (as a member of the large European network of EBEN EUROPE) work, aims to contribute to the creation Culture Business Ethics at the individual, enterprise and social level, despite the difficulties of the crisis we are experiencing.
The event welcomed Mr. Anthony Kerastaris CEO of INTRALOT Group, Mr. James Bamforth (Claims Manager – Head of Claims The Swedish Club, Greece) with a speech on “Marine Insurance Support to Business Ethics in Shipping”, Ms. Nancy Papalexandri ( professor at the Athens University of Economics) to talk about pilot Ethical HR Tool Analytics program.
The Gen. Secretary EBEN GR Ms. Gelina Karella announced the names of the companies that received the award for 2016 in the PLATINUM level Also presented by EBEN GR both excellent tools set by the organization at the disposal of the modern enterprise and relating to Sustainability (this the Sustainability Reporting) and Human Resources (Ethical HR Tool Analytics).

EBEN decided this year to establish for the first time in our country and in Europe, the Ambassador Club of EBEN (European Business Ethics Network) a VIP AMBASSADORS CLUB. The aim of ACE, acronym of EBEN Ambassadors Club,is to inspire prominent business executives in a network which embracee similar views and is dedicated not only to the development of their personal career development but also for increasing the performance of the business in which employed as ell as for the Society as a whole. There was also a presentation of the distinguished members planned actions. Then it was given the honorary award to the company STEFANOS KARYDAKIS SA Graphic Arts for significant contribution to the EBEN work and its continued support and initiative to promote corporate social responsibility in practice.
