Responsible Management in Social – Environmental & Ethical Governance for Sustainable Excellence

The 9th event of the awards of EBEN GR was attended by the Board of the Greek Institute of Business Ethics, major players in the business world, academics, members of EBEN GR as the EBEN EUROPE who came especially for the event as well as business executives interested in implementing the principles of Responsible Management Excellence model model (RME).

The President of the European and Greek network of EBEN GR Anthony Gortzis said to the attendants, that EBEN GR (as a member of the great European EBEN EUROPE Network) work,helps businesses to apply systems and policies that contribute to corporate sustainable development and the wider social welfare.

The event welcomed Ms. Nancy Papalexandri Professor at the University of Economics who spoke about the contribution of the Institution of EBEN to the Greek society and Mr. Dimitris Pavlakis President EBEN Ambassadors Club o who stated the importance of Business Ethics in Banking Mediation.

The Prof.Dr.Annette Kleinfeld, EBEN Germany announced the creation of the new Index DEX (ethical index) in the German stock taking into consideration especially an ethical index (DEX), in addition to already known stock indexDAX).
This index is a result of the newly economic model “Fair Profit” which is based on the EBEN model (RME Model) and other known models and other top Quality Models & Frameworks such as AA 1000 / Sustainable Development Goals / EMAS / GRI 4 / EFQM etc.

Ms Jana Root, University of Applied Sciences, Konstanz spoke about EBEN important tool, the RME Model, which has already been adopted by major companies.

Ms. Lisa Janke, spoke about the research by comparing the EBEN Model RME with some of the most important management and social responsibility models such as ISO26001, GRI 4 and EFQM.

It is particularly important that the EBEN RME Model, is a product of Aristotelian culture, well accepted world-wide, selected in the group of major business excellence models for the final configuration of the new DEX Index which is extremely important as it is basically the first time that the Business Ethics concept is officially introduced at an Exchange index.

Thereafter the Gen. Secretary EBEN GR Ms. Gelina Karella announced the names of the companies that received the SEE G awards for 2016
