The 7th event of the awards of EBEN GR was attended by the Board of the Greek Institute of Business Ethics, major players in the business world, academics, members of EBEN GR
The President of the European and Greek network of EBEN GR Anthony Gortzis said to the audience, that EBEN GR (as a member of the great European EBEN EUROPE Network) work, helps businesses to apply systems and policies that contribute to corporate sustainable development and the wider social welfare. Reference was made to the important changes deemed necessary to adapt to modern business needs and the emergence of multi-dimensional character that not only just business ethics but also the Environment, Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance.
The event welcomed Mr. Konstantinos Frouzis – Vice G.Diefthyntis of Novartis Hellas, President of the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Companies (SFEE), Gregory Antoniadis – Director-ELAIS Unilever Communication, Board Vice President of the Association of Advertisers Association (SDE) Nikitas Konstantellos – ICAP Group CEO, Chairman of the Association of Chief Executives of Greece (EASE), Yiannos Grammatidis – Chairman of the Policy Institute American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

Then the awards given for the dissertations contest of graduate students on ” Business Ethics as an instrument for growth and competitiveness” , organized by EBEN GR sponsored by ALPHA BANK and for their participation were:

Then was the announcement and relative awards forthe companies who participated in the project TANKER MANAGEMENT SELF-ASSESSMENT (TMSA), as well as the honour-award for the company IPSOS research made on the evaluation of EBEN GR public image.
Finally, the Greek Institute of Business Ethics Excellence awarded two community outreach awards. Specifically Excellence received the Eugenides Foundation for the great contribution to the scientific and technical education of young people of Greece and representative of ANT1 TV. Sponsors of the event was, the company TSAKOS SHIPPING AND TRADING SA and ALPHA BANK. Supporter was the company ICAP GROUP and media sponsor was Naftemporiki.
